Holy Spirit, let's be friends
The disciples are distraught in this chapter so Jesus comforts them.
Jesus says, v. 16-17 "He (God the Father) will give you another Counselor to be with you forever-the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you."
I want to befriend the Holy Spirit. We're not putting our faith into a history lesson, we're putting our faith in the living God.
Another verse I love v.19 "Because I live, you also will live."
