John 9

So Jesus heals a blind man and the Pharisees investigate the healing. They eventually throw out the healed man based on his testimony. Jesus goes to find the man after he hears that he's been thrown out.

He says, v.39 "For judgment I have come into this world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind."

So the only way we can see is to be blind. Being blind requires complete dependence, being led by the hand. On the flip side, when we invest in our own vision, we're blind. Let's lean on our beloved.
